‘Final Major Project’(FMP) of my degree.

‘Beauty Unveiled’ is a knitwear collection that redefines perceptions of the female body, celebrating natural forms and lived textures such as wrinkles, folds and cellulite. Through expressive knit structures, the project honours these marks as beautiful, powerful traces of life’s journey.

Beautiful Brutalism

This collection showcases a luxury knitwear line, inspired by Brutalist Architecture and the innovative silhouettes of Iris Van Herpen.

My colour palette was derived from photographs of the Barbican and UEA campus building, capturing the contrast between the soft warmth of the sunset on the bold, angular concrete structures. This approach was translated into the collection through delicate stitches and refined yarns, paired with neutral tones, reflecting the exposed, raw beauty of Brutalism through open knits.

This experience refined my ability to create sophisticated pieces and deepened my appreciation for how architecture can shape high-end design.
